SPC Convective Outlooks
The Storm Prediction Center issues convective outlooks showing areas at risk for severe storms. We take their data and apply a dark-themed visualization to complement the original light-themed graphics generated by the SPC.
Software
StratoCast: NEXRAD Level II Pipeline
The NEXRAD Level II Radar Data Processing Pipeline is an experimental, open-source backend designed to ingest and process raw NEXRAD Level II Archive radar data from public AWS buckets for hobbyist, research, and educational applications. It provides a high-performance, multi-threaded processing pipeline that handles decompression, decoding, and output generation, supporting both 2D tilt-based and 3D volumetric radar products. The project aims to simplify building radar-based applications by providing a reusable foundation so developers can focus on visualization and analysis rather than low-level ingestion and decoding.
StratoCast - Admin Console
The Stratocast: Admin Console is a desktop interface for managing and monitoring StratoCast data processing backends. It connects to backend services via HTTP APIs to provide system controls, real-time metrics, and configuration management. The console is expected to expand as new processing systems arise.

The StratoCast Radar App brings real-time weather data to life. Watch high-resolution radar sweeps, track active watches and warnings, view storm reports, and explore storms in 3D. For the first time in any radar app, you can control it with voice commands, letting you navigate, switch radar products, and toggle layers hands-free. Designed for both weather professionals and enthusiasts, StratoCast makes understanding storms faster, easier, and more interactive than ever.
